What’s the impact of male enhancement ads?
Male Enhancement Pills, Libido Booster Pills, Best Erection Pills. Best Male Enhancement, Best Erection Pills, Libido Booster Pills.
I can’t help myself. I rush to change the channel or switch the station when one of those revolting ads comes at me. Paraphrasing Juliet, “A Best Erection Pill by any other name would smell as foul.”
Ever since Viagra’s little blue pills swelled the pockets of big Pharma, ads pushing these magical meds seem to be proliferating faster than the growth they claim their products provide.
Seems it’s fine for manufacturers to build a huge bank account off the billions in profits gleaned by enlarging men’s private parts, fostering increased virility for men, while at the same time it’s less and less likely for women to reap pleasure without paying for the consequences thanks to the current US Supreme Court.
Big business: More sex for men. More self-control of their bodies.
Big judges: Less sex for women. Less self-control of their bodies.
It’s as if in today’s America, men are urged to use products designed to maximize power to impregnate, yet leave women to deal with the outcome. Companies vie to assist men who suffer erectile dysfunction, while the Supreme Court refuses to help women who suffer untenable pregnancies.
Meanwhile, advertisments pour over us from all corners: How needy and deserving men are for ED meds. Not a word about what women need and deserve as a result of these meds.
Patriarchy. Power. To which people?
